Joining two sentences

Sorekara, sorede and shikamo open a second sentence and say how it follows the first.

Pattern

[sentence]the first onesorekaraand then / and also[sentence]the second one

これはなすです。それから、それはさくらです。

Kore wa nasu desu. Sorekara, sore wa sakura desu.

This is an eggplant. And that one is a cherry blossom.

これはさかなです。それから、それはからすです。

Kore wa sakana desu. Sorekara, sore wa karasu desu.

This is a fish. And that one is a crow.
