The 12 patterns Remlori's free first chapter teaches, in the order you meet them. Each comes with example sentences.

desu

たこです。 Tako desu.

Interjections stand outside the sentence

こら!さめです。 Kora! Same desu.

wa — topic marker

これはねこです。 Kore wa neko desu.

Joining two sentences

これはなすです。それから、それはさくらです。 Kore wa nasu desu. Sorekara, sore wa sakura desu.

ga + suki desu — "I like ___"

ねこがすきです。 Neko ga suki desu.

mo — "too / also"

ねこもすきです。 Neko mo suki desu.

wo — object marker

たこをたべます。 Tako wo tabemasu.

masu — polite verb ending

のみます。 Nomimasu.

kono — "this ___"

このとまとをたべます。 Kono tomato wo tabemasu.

"-i" adjectives

たこはおおきいです。 Tako wa ookii desu.

totemo — "very"

かめはとてもおおきいです。 Kame wa totemo ookii desu.

desukara — "therefore"

やさいがすきです。ですから、たべます。 Yasai ga suki desu. Desukara, tabemasu.
