なさけない

nasakenai = pathetic, shameful

Nachos, Salsa and Cake crash on stage, leaving the last plate of Nachos uneaten, and an Eagle hangs its head: Pathetic.

In a theatrical mood workshop, a sequence of pathetic defeat unfolds under a cold, blue spotlight. In the foreground, a plate of nachos with buckled striped legs slumps in shame, weeping cheese tears onto a tilted bowl of salsa that spills red stains down its turquoise ceramic body. The tilting salsa bowl presses into a deflated pink birthday cake, which sags and drips frosting. In the midground, the melting cake collapses into a second plate of nachos, scattering its chips onto the dark wooden stage floor. A bald eagle with slumped chocolate-brown wings, a white head, and fogged red aviator goggles huddles over this second plate of nachos, clutching it like a comfort object. In the background of a theatrical mood workshop, heavy, faded purple curtains part slightly to show a cracked mirror reflecting the somber, slumped postures.
