How it works

  1. Sounds become symbols

Each Korean sound gets one memorable picture. You hear it, see it and link the two.
  2. Symbols become words

A word's sounds combine into one scene. Picture the scene and the word comes back.
  3. It keeps adding up

Every new word reuses symbols you already know, so each lesson is quicker than the last.

How do the pictures work?

Each Korean sound gets one picture, such as 아 (a) → armor. A word's picture combines the pictures for its sounds, and they come back in later words.
